I am loving the PC game Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It has to be one of the best first person medieval game if you have never heard of it. The game takes place in 1403, Bohemia. You have King Sigismund from Hungary who has recently deposed his brother and taking over the country side with his Cumans. kingdom-come-deliverance.fandom.com/wiki/Cumans I know it is just a computer game, but this got me thinking about recreating more historical battles representing the period during when the game takes place. So I was thinking about the following: IV/43c Hungarian Army 1397-1626AD led by Sigismund but I thought it was interesting there were no Cumans listed, only for IV 43a 1245-1395. IV/80 Hussite 1409-1434AD (though interesting) does not seem to represent the Kingdom of Bohemia. IV/13b Medieval Germany 1151-1439AD perhaps? What would I use to represent the Kingdom of Bohemia from the late 1300's to early 1400's? What are your thoughts? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Bohemia#14th_century_(%22Golden_Age%22)en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wenceslaus_IV_of_Bohemia#DethronementThanks in advance.

I’m far from being an expert of this period or region, but wouldn’t IV/43c represent the Army of Bohemia? It can have 3 x LH, and they would be the Cumans? Interestingly, the DBMM Army List for IV/43 Later Hungarians allows the following:- Horse Archers - up to ½ Cumans, remainder Hungarians, Jazyges or Ruthenians - Irr LH (F) = 8-24. Sezekelers - Irr LH (S) or Tartars - Reg LH (S) = 5-20.
Dividing these DBMM maximums by 8 (see fanaticus.boards.net/post/36582/ ) gives roughly the proportions listed for the DBA IV/43c Later Hungarian army.

I am sure others will contribute suggestions for manufacturers, but the Bohemian would not be too different from other German troops. In general, you could mix older armour types without any problem.
Infantry wore gambesons, kettle helmet, and if spear armed would carry a pavise (city militia), an oval or heater shield. The Heerban or feudal retainers (7Hd) would be similarly armed, but omit the pavise.
Men-at-arms would have a mix of armour, but only a minority would have plate armour. Shields could be heater types, but bouched shields were common. I would look to Donnington (New Era) or Essex for suitable figures.

...in that time Bohemia is a part of the german empire and not a part of Hungary or Poland. But a bohemian army can contain any hungarian or polish mounted mercenary...
