The rules state that an element of Bows cannot shoot if they moved greater than 1 BW.
Does this also apply to Mounted Longbows?
Thanks

Tony is of course correct.
Page 10, Distant Shooting, 2nd paragraph, very last sentence says:- “Bows and War Wagons cannot shoot if they have moved more than 1 BW this bound.” ...which Cromwell already knew, but it is also reinforced by the FAQ ruling which says:- “Question: Can Mounted Infantry move more than 1BW and still shoot? Answer: No.” (...which is a case of the FAQ clarifying the rules instead of trying to change them)
Some players get confused by Mtd-Bows, which despite their rather confusing name are not mounted but are simply 'foot shooters’ that move differently (see Page 3, third paragraph).
Note: Mounted Infantry move as Knights (3 BW) in good going, but in rough or bad going they move as the foot type...1 BW if ‘solid’ 4 figures, and 3 BW if ‘fast’ 3 figures.

Thank you, Seems logical to me but I had this nagging doubt which is now dispelled!

Mtd-Inf can also make second or third moves, if entirely in good going. But, no, that doesn't mean they can move twice, then move "just" 1BW and shoot.
Sorry, but they're not Panzergrenadiers.

Yes they can still only move 1BW and shoot. This was put in specifically to deal with Mounted Archers and Fast Bow.
