I'd like to know if anyone makes pavise decals or transfers for 15mm figures for the early Renaissance period of the Italian Wars - 1490 - 1525, or 1530 (primarily for Essex minis, but perhaps some Minifigs, Khurasan, or others too)? Not sure if anyone makes metal pavises in this scale, so they'll probably have to be cut from styrene, and scratch-built. Barring that, any tips on hand painting these, or using paint pens, and other techniques (making decals from on-line images perhaps) to produce them? Brush work at such a small scale seems very daunting, if not almost impossible. Would love a good source for Renaissance Italian artwork that might work for making decals, if that is a decent way forward. I ran across this stunning work from Mike Vella, and most if not all seem to be hand painted, which is incredible in such a small scale: vellamike61.blogspot.com/2018/08/15mm-dba.htmlI'd ask him directly, but it appears there is no e-mail address to contact him. Click here if you want to see more of his stunning paintwork too, including his beautifully ornately painted, Gendarmes: vellamike61.blogspot.com/2018/08/15mm-dba.htmlAny ideas or tips will be appreciated. Regards, Rob
