new update :
- Added III/40 a & b & c & d and III/72 using Dylanb excellent photogammetry viking models.
- Added more useful tooltips with all the info you need for each troops, thanks to the work of Marc.
- There's a "Set dead" option when right clicking a base, which sends it automatically to the graveyard, which is another small quality of life improvement by Marc.
- The bottom UI is now mirrored, as was incorrectly reflecting hte position of each player from the right hand side, where the players spawn.
- Fixed minor errors in lists, thanks to the reports of Arkein, Redentroll, Marc and others.

I have tried it a few days ago.
While I did like the visuals, I found the handling fiddly and it it too hard to reach the level of precision that DBA really requires. It is too difficult to align elements in corner-to-corner contact, group movement is wonky etc.
Feels like an early beta (which I guess it is). That is fine, but to me it is no fun to play that way. If usability is improved, I might re-consider.

er... sorry but no it's not a beta version, you must handle table top simulator moves a bit, that's true. i think you didn't find all these tools, and you tried to position units "by hand" that is very dificult i must admit. it's why we add magnetic things for base, it's aligned automatically, the moves are easier too (just add the distance you want... and lot more things like shooting template, moving template...) lot of helpers and additional menu done exactly to help player to handle 3d things (not natural on a 2d screen) i assure you that it's quite near of the real game after a little training of course, (but it's not a videogame, it's a DBA game with some scripts to help moves that's all) i'll be available to play a little last week of july, if you want some demo... btw to be honest, when it's possible, i still prefer to play in real! (no virtual beer ! ) but it's just another tool to be able to play DBA with friends who cannot be at your home or club so, i played lot of games like that and i can assure you that it's working not so bad (not perfect, because the limitation of table top simulator but...)

It is possible that I missed something.
I surely do not want to discourage anyone - you might find it less fiddly than I did.

eh no problem! you can imagine that I wouldn't have taken so much time to 3d scan my figs if the module is not good enough to play without problem!

Just grabbed Tabletop Simulator for Christmas and remembered that there had been a forum out there talking about a DBA 3.0 module. Was happy to be able to find you all again! I'm new to the game (I started my journey with the Total War series on PC), but have grabbed Sue Laflin-Barker's "Start Ancient Wargaming" book and have begun doing some unit matchup analysis. Is there a list with TTS DBA 3.0 players anywhere? I'd like to join and have a real game against someone other than myself sometime.
