Hi All
Do elements exert a ZOC, threat zone, onto a camp meaning that any camp followers or an element in the camp can only obey the rules for movement in a ZOC? Straight towards the element, move backwards of line up etc.
I think they do but not sure as not sure how to start their move back movement from as in effect they are in the entire camp at every place all at the same time.
Hope that makes sense

Well, the latest FAQ ( which can be found here: ancientwargaming.files.wordpress.com/2020/01/dba_faq_q1_2020_final.pdf ) says the following:- Q: As the defender, I placed a fort on the table and garrisoned it with an element of Blade. The gate of the fort faces my enemy. During play my opponent moved a Psiloi to a corner of the fort opposite the gate. His Threat Zone just touches the fort. I want to leave the fort to attack another enemy element. My opponent claims that I am in the Threat Zone of his Psiloi and can't move out of the fort. Does the Threat Zone prevent me from exiting? A: No. A City or Fort is not affected by a Threat Zone. The placement of an element near the center of these types of BUA is a convenience to show that the troops of that element are occupying it. An enemy element placed so that its Threat zone covers a gate of a City or Fort will affect an element exiting from that gate as normal. In other words, TZ’s do not extend into Cities and Forts, but are blocked by the perimeter walls. I assume that the same applies to the perimeter of palisaded Camps. After all, troops that are currently occupying a City/Fort/Camp don’t actually have a facing as such, so ‘backing-out’ of an outside generated TZ is pretty meaningless.
