So... Forming into column is clear enough to me by the diagrams in the rules. My question is this. 4 element column along road wants to snap in place along the road and form a line. Is this a one pip maneuver or a 4 pip maneuver?

Is this a one pip maneuver or a 4 pip maneuver? One element could remain stationary and astride the road while the other three form to its left and right; this requires three pips. If you need to change the angle of approach of your line, then you will need to move all four. |
