Well, kind of.
I thought in light of staying home and all that, why not try and set up my wargaming table to reflect the terrain around my house.
With all the available satellite images, online maps, and numerous walks with my dog over the years, it is not difficult to be able to have the area around my house, well represented on the tabletop.
In DBA terms, my table is quite big, (around 41BW by 23BW), which represents about 2.5 km by 1.3 km in real life.
I did not worry about every single terrain feature, just looked at ones that stood out for me.
In my case, that happens to be what should be a gully, but since I do not have that terrain piece, the woods will do. Besides, there are tons of trees in and around this gully
To the right, is a poorly drained area, full of bull rushes, thick brush, that sort of thing.
To the left, an area that gradually rises in elevation, and thought a gentle hill could reflect this.
Of course, I left out all the houses, streets, etc.. I am playing with Book I armies after all!
Looking forward to this.

Champion idea, nice selection of camps in the background as well.
Based on my local area there would be difficult hills/slag heaps, rivers/effluent discharge, BUA/water treatment plant and then wasteland/ the rest of barnsley
Actually the slag helps are beautifully wooded as nature has taken over, old pit discharge are streams and rivers that look good enough to drink but I ain't chancing it at, treatment plant Barnsley council have hidden in a wood so other than literally 3 foot away you would not know it was there. Great area to walk the dog not so much to have a battle, town centre more suited for that.

I constantly have battles in my back garden, usually against weeds and growing grass.
I went up to my allotment over the weekend and tackled the overgrown bit at the bottom, found a wheel barrow I didn't know I had, a big plant that seemed to resemble a Triffid, an assortment of rusted agricultural implements and two Japanese soldiers who did not realise the war was over.

I can walk over to the Passaic littoral. On one side is the NY RedBulls stadium, looks like alien mothership flying saucer. Quip is that space aliens would be welcome, all they have to do is metabolize dioxin into something harmless - because other side of river is plant where we made Agent Orange, Superfund still cleaning up the site.
