The mats I mentioned last year are back in stock in Lidl(UK) stores. They cost 99p, measure 40cmx60cm and come in brown or grey. The mats are ribbed which makes the brown mats great to use as plough. The grey could be used to make roads.

These look great! What are they exactly? Doormat material? Trying to find something similar in the usi Hi There Yes just cheap door mat from a discount supermarket. I also got a thicker one from B&Q at some point and did a bigger one with larger ploughed sections, you may get away with those carpet tiles. If you get no joy let me know and I will put some in an A4 envelope and post it you, I have some spare. In these difficult times if one man cant post some cheap off cut carpet to a chum we have no chance. Let us know and if you want some send me a PM Happy hunting

Much appreciated Baldie, jolly decent of you! But I'm pretty sure I can find something around here. Just need to figure out what it is. There's a dollar store just down the road!

If you put a little bit of wall around the outside and flock it And then fill with plastic water, you would have a nice rice patties.

In the US, go to Home Depot, Lowes, or another DIY and look for the free carpet samples for outdoor carpet, and check the door mats as well. Might find the door mats at Wal Mart, Target, or one of the discount stores. Much appreciated Baldie, jolly decent of you! But I'm pretty sure I can find something around here.
