Interesting. I viewed this twice and noted the brief alliance between ibn Timnah and Robert Guiscard. This is earlier than the Sicilian list which starts in 1072 AD.
The Fatamid caliph appointed al-Hasan al-Kalbi as Emir of Sicily which could have the taifas using the Fatamid list. However, one could equally argue the North African/Sicilian list of III/33 is also historically correct.

That is interesting Robert, I've been looking for evidence of Muslim troops in Guscard's army from 1061AD but could only find info on archers being used when Guscard was in Rome which is out of the armies era. However, the Fatamids have the Normans(Western Franks) as enemies in their list, but also interestingly have II/21b Lombards as allies, but they do not appear as allies for the Lombards?
