I am having a mental block/psychotic episode with painting one of the Xyston elephants. I have decided to bin it and replace him. I already have three Xystons and a Museum and do not want to duplicate. So wohat would be the best replacement FiB, Magister, Essex (?). I need help in terms of size and quality of animation please.
Thanks

Hi There
I would think FIB would be closest I have some MM nellies that are fab but I had to build up the base and make one rear up so they looked more in scale with my Xyston infantry.

Thanks Baldie! Though that means I will have spares. I wish FIB would sell in useful quNTties!

Whats wrong.... Well I am a bit challenged with some of the detail. One elephant I have ruined. I tried to clean up the model and managed to scratch the detail off one of the ear decorations. On another I cannot actually get into paint some of the detail It might have been better to do it before the whole thing was put together. Any how I have two choices To remove the ear decorations from both elephants and replace with some green stuff, which I am perfectly capable of doing of doing or buy two ne replacements. Currently the former is the most productive cost wise as I have done quite a bit of work and painted the crew. So I just don't know which way to go. I guess before I spend someones money I will have to play about with green stuff and see if that works!

I had a problem with an elephant once. I said to the handler "How do I get down off this elephant?"
He replied
"You can't Sir. You can only get down off a duck!". š
