Was attempting to playtest some house rules today, but came upon some standard rules questions that needed answering: - A Ps was forced to recoil. It was 15mm in front of a friendly Sp. It can interpolate through the Sp, and there is room behind the Sp, but this would mean it had recoiled more than 1/2BW. Does it interpolate through the Sp, or does it stop in front of the Sp?
- If I'm caught in 2 TZs, one to the front and one to the size, may I choose to turn and charge the element to my flank, instead of having to move straight ahead to the front enemy?
- A Ps was forced to flee toward a battlefield side edge. It was exactly 90deg, i.e. perpendicular to the table edge. Does it still rotate 90 degrees to face it's own friendly table edge and continue to flee, or is it destroyed?
- A Sp recoiled and touched the front edge of an enemy LH behind it. The Sp moved before stopping at the LH's front edge. i.e. The LH was not in contact during combat. The rules state that the Sp just stops, but this seems a bit weird. Why isn't the Sp killed outright?
The last one is about Sp in two ranks and moving into line: I understand this: 4Sp 4Sp
In 1 move, I can move the rear 4Sp to line like this: 4Sp4Sp
But what about if I'm more than 1 BW away: 4Sp4Sp 4Sp
2BW move would take that rear 4Sp to: 4Sp4Sp ______4Sp
but wouldn't have enough move to get into line. I'm assuming I'd had to two step it yeah?

Move the one on the right of the front rank over 1 BW , then move the one at the rear into the gap , would need 2 PIPs though .

- It can Recoil more than 1/2 BW to clear the Sp.
- If I'm caught in 2 TZs, one to the front and one to the size, may I choose to turn and charge the element to my flank, instead of having to move straight ahead to the front enemy?
- You can pick which TZ to respond to (but must stick to one choice even if you enter another TZ).
- A Ps was forced to flee toward a battlefield side edge. It was exactly 90deg, i.e. perpendicular to the table edge. Does it still rotate 90 degrees to face it's own friendly table edge and continue to flee, or is it destroyed?
- NOt sure I understand this one. PS turns around and Flees directly to its rear. As long as it can start the Flee it is not Destroyed unless it leaves the Rear Edge.
- A Sp recoiled and touched the front edge of an enemy LH behind it. The Sp moved before stopping at the LH's front edge. i.e. The LH was not in contact during combat. The rules state that the Sp just stops, but this seems a bit weird. Why isn't the Sp killed outright?
- Because it can begin its Recoil.
