Hello all,
Just came across this website today - this swords-smith - Neil Burridge - forges bronze age swords. By the looks of it 12% Nickel - Copper alloy is almost a silver colour when polished.

The menu is on the left of the screen.

I enquired about bronze colours a few years on Society of Ancients forum. It appears that certain bronze alloys are indeed nearly silver when polished. In fact, Black Hat/Coat d’Arms bronze I used was as close to silver as anything. Not a hint of copperyness.
