In the Combat Outcome table there are some combat results which take effect in a some type of terrain (e.g. Bd will be destroyed by Kn if in good going). So, I found myself in a confused state: to which of the units does this apply? Defeated or winner has to be in a such type of terrain? I'm sorry probably this question sounds strange. Before I thought that this refers only to defeated. But then I noticed that Camelry has an addition: "...or if themselves in bad going".

If the blades are totally in good going they are destroyed by the knights even if the knights themselves are in bad going at the time.

Yes that is correct (but the Knights take a -2 to their CF for being in Bad Going).
Its the terrain the element is in that counts.

I believe the specific camelry wording helps that unit destroy bad going troops like psiloi when they are in Dunes or Oases.

I'm sorry, but I still can't get it clear, what is the semantic difference between: "...or if in bad going" and "...or if themselves in bad going". If first statement is applied to the defeated base that stand in a specific terrain, why we need clarification word " themselves" in case of Camelry...

Think of say Psiloi being attacked by Cavalry:- Are the Psiloi in Good Going? If yes, then they are destroyed if they score less. Are the Psiloi in Rough Going? If yes, then they recoil if they score less. Are the Psiloi in Dunes? If yes, they recoil from Cavalry, but will be destroyed by Camels... ...because as far as the Camels are concerned, Dunes are Good Going. “Psiloi: Destroyed by Kn, Cv or Cm if (the Ps is) in going the enemy counts as good. If not, recoil.” Some Helpful Downloads can be found here: fanaticus-dba.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Reference_sheets_and_epitomes And here is the latest Jan 2019 FAQ: fanaticus-dba.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ_2019_1st_Quarter

Allow me just one more question on this topic Will the Camels be destroyed if they are in bad going (not in theirs lovely dunes, but somewhere else) and score less ? Camels narrowly beaten in going they consider bad will flee. If doubled they will shuffle off this mortal coil. Or relocate to an alternate universe, depending on how into that sort of stuff you are.

Hmm.... as I see, they only will flee from elephants, and in other cases just recoil (if they score less, not doubled). Maybe you looked at Cavalry that is below...
