Busy basing timurilank. Your post reminds me that perhaps we should have a separate "tab" (or whatever the technical label is) for sharing ideas just on baggage, camps, editices and BUA as these tend to get posted of various pages here. Those shared are often very inspiring. Even just re-organising the basing can prove inspiring! CarlL

I have had a successful week with my painting ‘mojo’ and my 28mm Early Germanic tribes army. I have nearly completed (bar adding some basing material to painted figures glued to bases) two psiloi bases / elements; two more foot generals bases (with a nod to fantasy gaming you might say as two princesses and female seer included); two bases of long spear armed warriors (could be seen as more fantasy from what I read recently); and two bases of ‘baton’ waving, sorry nasty big wooden club wielding, warriors. All figure painting finished and figures glued to bases.
Additionally I painted up (but I have not glued to bases) 6 Germanic cavalry figures. These are BIG hunky Foundry cavalry – definitely in the fantasy style with biceps bigger than most 25/28mm heads and mainly semi nude with smattering of fur cloak - who may get re-assigned to fill gaps in my secondary version of my Spartacus army (as per the To The Strongest / TtS rules / list, requiring light cavalry) !?!
I also succeeded in doing most of the painting on 9 more Germanic cavalry (8 from Irregular Miniatures 28mm and one Foundry Dacian 25/28mm).... to be continued !!
CarlL
PS I also have some ideas for Germanic camps cum wagon laager!

I finished the I/15 Late Amorites today and included an Edifice I had intended for use for a camp with a Sea Peoples army but once you check the measurements it's a little too large to be a standard camp....but can still be used as an Edifice camp or stand alone terrain piece. The Late Amorites are also an enemy of the Egyptians so the vandalised Edifice can be used to taunt any wanna-be Ramases the Great.😉 The figures are all Essex miniatures and the Edifice is from Hovels miniatures. It's back to the Medieval Germans in a way...I have the two allies contingents to do...the Early Poles and the Danes. The Poles are easy, just a 3Cav element plus 2x3 Bow.But I expanded the Danes to the full III/40d Leidang army....I just couldn't resist the Museum miniatures sale.lol

Great work Haadrada, great link (non FB) and beautiful Amorite army! Great edifice! And I thought it was just 25mm DBA gamers who have problems getting their chariots to fit on dba bases!! Well done, chariot looks great. CarlL

The shields of the Libyan spearmen are mostly LBMS or VVV transfers. Another group of mercs and a couple of terror weapons. ![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizsAN7vf4fibOnf0EM3APtG35Y7tkyHJhqEVEsiZCx5K5xa2F8nkZKMII_6TusvatStasdNxXw1LzJWAj9ezIJorjOrccptUKKSSqATfOWzc7MOt1gJYJ0mkVZkmk7cxDZpV1DkEww9CV9FjX62xDTDyuRWQS6B3XIHGITXgxEr8HUyJQIKDVgf0Vx3q6a/s2448/Numidian%20horsemen%20B.jpg) ![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAHvWEviFnxcpYZSGc8tdaH0_Cjg_dwlRkHxWTqxE7W5MkduVezwY9MCO6FFgbgukOLK_G2RsBabe8Pw1NFKzs_L0hj_hpbEThgfMI70nQB13geoHqY2qem16pcX-SV_pbNVuy4ocHqBM0Lj2wz05dB-Wn9cYDJ4IHL92NNUM__J1iL7d5_fcKBSpdTTSF/s2448/Punic%20Elephant%20B.jpg)

What make are the "terror weapons"? I'd love to paint up a Numidian army but need the elephant to make it work I reckon.
