It is a strange thing technology, or is it just FB, gregorius CANCON FB link begins with same share tag as paulisper's two links above; but while the former took me to gregorius images of his paintwork, paulispers took me just to the title page and the private no entry unless you join FB message!? CarlL The Cancon link is on a public FB group , so anyone can view it , paulisper's links are to a private FB group , so you have to be a member to see the posts . Its the way FB works , a lot of group are going private , because of the spammers that are rife on FB .

I had a promising start to my painting on Thursday by finishing 1x7Hd for the Lusignan Cypriot - this army is now complete 2x3Wb for the Scots Common (making up the remaining elements to build a full army from figures I inherited from a freind).
However much of the rest of my weekend was taken up with other activity - most of it to do with figure skating as the younger of the (not so) little warbands is still heavily involved.
I did manage a significant amount of basing - such that the figures finished last week are now fully based as is the core of the Scots Common.
And just before dinner last night I prepped another set of strips for painting - as we have nearly completed all of the last set of 4 armies - just the last touches of the Early Libyans to go - there should be no impediment to these Khurasan Libyans taking the field for Warfare 2024 in Farnborough.
Cheers

Today I finished a few alternative elements for the Grenadine army....5×2Ps(cb+staff slingers),1×4Cb(Berber allied Spanish mercenaries) and re-vamped 2x3Cb that I swapped figures out to do the mercenary cb element.
Now I just have the Berber LH General,Taureg Camel and Highland archer elements to do to finish my odds & sods elements before starting on my next project.

Another broad sweep on your painting table Haardrada.
But I must admit my ignorance on subject of Highland archers! Scottish? Or somebody else Highlands!!?? Doesn't one of the 'Iranian' biblical armies have Highland archers??
(Or am I confusing Gutian Highlanders with Indian Forest archers? My early ancient history knowledge is very dodgy!!)
CarlL clueless about Highlanders.......

Sorry Carll I should have explained it better, I've been filling in extra elements for existing armies...the Highland archers are to actually suplimentary elements to morph my Viking army into Scots Isle and Highlanders...with a lower aggression and a little more choice of elements.

An upadte on my East Frankish army.
3Kn

malory: Those look great! I really like the basing with generous use of tufts. I'll have to keep that in mind when I get to some more of the British Isles armies I'm starting to look at. My own project is nearing completion. II/56 Imperial Romans are all painted and based, just need protective coating and a photo shoot. I still have 3-4 units to do that I am waiting on bits to arrive (4Ax, 4Bw, 3Bd gladiators, and possibly a Ps archers).
