Yesterday I returned to the 1st LH element of the Ancient British after almost 2 weeks of short road trips. So the LH element is now complete. This morning I cleaned up the figures for the 4th, 5th and 6th elements of fast Warband and PVA'd them to painting nails. Hopefully this afternoon I'll be able to apply the primer. Once again, the figures are by Forged in Battle, except for 1 Essex ring-in. Cheers, The 2nd tranche of 3Wb are now completed. I've cleaned up the figures for the 2nd element of LH, attached them to painting nails and will apply primer today. Cheers, So after getting back from our winter break in tropical Queensland I've returned to the painting table. The 2nd LH element of the Ancient British is now finished. Next up are the figures for the last of the 3x3Wb. Hopefully over the weekend I'll be able to make a start on them. Cheers,

Hello thanks a lot for your kind word, recently Turkish touristic authority open a phrygian valley and explain who was the phrygian. So far is the last summary of this people's based on archeological updated information about phrygian. frigultra.org/shortinfo/content/phrygian-walleyScholar are for now starting to separate mushki and phrygian as two entity. It is a passionate topic as phrygian alphabet seems to emerge earlier than Greek own. It appears phrygian was a bridge civilization between Assyria and dark/proto geometric Greek civilization in early iron age. History are far more less linear as previously thought. And do not forget that USA archeologist discover or highlight a new kingdom centred around Konya plateau. The king Hartapu claim a victory crush over a Midas king of phrygia on a recently discovered stone stele.

Gaming at a club! First time I have heard of that this year. We've been going for about 6 weeks now. There have even been a couple of wargame competitions here in the UK, although not DBA ones - yet.

I have finally made a start on the Mirliton Early Swiss army pack I bought around the time v3 came out. The army with 9 x 6Bd. I have painted the LH element and have just finished the first of the foot figures. One down, fifty-nine more to go. Two and a half months later, the score is now fifty-nine down and one to go. I may try and post some pics via Facebook once they are based.

I've just finished cleaning up the figures for the LCh (G) element and mounting them on painting nails. Good friend Mark, aka Jan Zizka, took an Xyston figure from their Civilian pack and converted her to Boudicca. Looking forward to painting her up, especially her long red hair. Cheers,

However, before I can apply the final varnish coats l need a day of no wind and at least 15°c. Once vanished I'll post images on the 2FB DBA pages. Before I sign off, a special thank you to very good friend Mark, aka Jan Zizka, for converting a Xyston figure from their Civilian pack to represent the queen of the Iceni. Cheers,
