I have a question in 2 parts:
If knights destroy an enemy they pursue 1BW straight ahead but if their pursuit move would enter BG they do not pursue. I assume this means that they stay put rather than pursue to the edge of BG where they stop. Is this correct?
If while pursuing they contact (in GG) part of an element that is partly in BG then they conform to it even if this means that they end up in BG. Is this correct? i.e. they do not stay put given that the consequences of the pursuit move would mean they enter BG.

This includes conforming. The conform uses the same rules as that of a tactical move, but is still part of the pursuit. Joe Collins

I agree with Joe and that is how we do it too.

Ditto to Joe and Tony. However as I was reading this question something occurred to me that I have not thought of before. If an element must pursue, all elements in a column behind it also follow.
“If a pursuing element’s front edge contacts enemy or its front corner contacts an enemy front edge, they line up immediately as if contact was by a tactical move, but the resulting combat is resolved next bound.”
So what happens if the pursuing element with the total column contacts an enemy element. Is this treated like a tactical move contact such that the enemy element conforms to the group, or does the whole group conform to the single element?
