Rod Felderman just sent me some 15mm Chinese war carts that he printed up basd in an illustration I saw. I did a full review on them on my Youtube channel: youtu.be/2pz2AVt5L20

Those look more like what I have found to date. Not as quite the same as the Ming carts from that 'Great Ming Military website that I linked to in the last review you posted - greatmingmilitary.blogspot.com/search/label/cart%20and%20wagonbut then it looks to predate firearms. In one of the posts on war carts the author of that site states that the T'ang had sufficiently strong cavalry that they abandoned the use of war carts in their steppe campaigns. Here is a discussion from the Historum site that felixs posted in a previous discussion (pictures unfortunately no longer showing) on the Tsin dynasty and later Ming dynasty use of war 'carts' - historum.com/threads/ancient-chinese-war-wagons-during-the-age-of-fragmentation.57041/page-2A couple of links from that discussion to what look like someone's vacation pictures which include what appear to be reconstructions (one of which has 4 wheels) - jiaguwen111.blog.sohu.com/162350609.htmljd.cang.com/478841.htmlUnfortunately most of the other links are dead. Found this in an article refuting the success of the heqin policy by another poster while following a link to another article on 'The Scholar's Stage' website - scholars-stage.blogspot.com/2014/09/what-edward-luttwak-doesnt-know-about_6.html"….Wei Qing’s army, having traveled 1,000 li [aprox 310 miles; 644 km] beyond the border, emerged from the desert just at the point where the Shanyu was waiting. Spying the Shanyu’s forces, Wei Qing likewise pitched camp and waited. He ordered the armored wagons to be ranged in a circle about the camp and at the same time sent out 5,000 cavalry to attack the Xiongnu." That occurred during the Western Han campaigns to stop the Xiongnu's depredations. And i looked at another site back when that first review was posted that noted that Three kingdom armies also used war carts (didn't book mark it unfortunately). Of course, if you can get additional/better info from the source of that picture, that would be great. It would also be nice if you could post the picture here or at another site where it could be copied, I would like to have it for my records... P.S. Also a discussion on war wagon/cart on the Hong Kong Society of Wargamers website - www.tapatalk.com/groups/hksw/chinese-war-wagons-t690.html?sid=b86ce804b20d85e9eb05fe890a38e3beP.P.S - Amusingly while getting ready to close that tab I copied the title (in Chinese) of one of the books listed and did a websearch which lead to this wiki page - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wujing_ZongyaoApparently the work is a Song Dynasty war compendium. If you scroll to the bottom of that page there is a series of illustrations from the compendium including this - upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/67/Gate_blocking_knife_cart_wjzy.jpgwhich looks not unlike yours.

What a crazy contraption. So, of course, I have to get one. Thanks, Tony. (What's next from Rod Felderman's magic copier?)

How about the CWg "General in ceremonial chariot" for the IV/37c Javanese Army? I know, Outpost Miniatures (I think) already makes a LCh model based on this image, but that hardly seems appropriate for a general's ceremonial chariot, right? My "extensive research" (ahem, Internet searches) has so far come up empty for a more appropriate, ceremonial, Javanese CWg. Hopefully, the cognoscenti here will have better luck finding the appropriate image to provide to Mr. Felderman and his magic 3D copier.

My ersatz solution for the Javanese CWg (the army is built out of Grumpy Indonesian & Malay figs) is to use an East Riding Miniatures (former TTG) Classical Indian 4-horse chariot with a Grumpy foot command.

Tony, any more fun contraptions out of Mr. Felderman's magic printer of late? Unfortunately, no. Last time I spoke with him he was not printing any more due to an issue with his hardware. I have heard those printers are very finicky so that it something I don't think I will ever get into doing. Also I don't think he is doing any more painting due to limited available time.

www.thingiverse.com/thing:3818758I want to order a couple of [Rod Felderman's] Chinese warwagons. Assuming you mean this one? You can find it easily here. Just beware Sung Artillery. Goes "poof" in a hurry.
