Sorry if this has been covered before, I do not remember.
On the DBA Yahoo group there was a question if elements can pivot through terrain, like they can through elements and Threat Zones, as shown in Figure 6c
"So that an element can pivot when space to turn is limited, its rear corner is allowed to pass through friendly or enemy elements or enemy TZs without restriction."
Following the text of 6c, I said no. Someone on the group pointed out, however, that the text in the Interpenetration section, page 9. it clearly states this is allowed. The Figure 6c text gives confusion by omission.
"Since the men represented by an element are not necessarily in a rigid permanent formation, one rear corner may pass through another element or an enemy TZ or a terrain feature while the element’s front edge pivots or wheels, rearward men having notionally moved directly to their new positions."
I recommend the folks annotate their rules by fixing the text for Figure 6c by adding " or terrain" between TZs and without.
"So that an element can pivot when space to turn is limited, its rear corner is allowed to pass through friendly or enemy elements or enemy TZs or terrain without restriction."

That is a good observation Bob. Following your advice I’ve added the words “ and through terrain (see rule 9.7)” to the diagram 6c dialogue in my copy of the Great Purple Book. Cheers for that. (mind you, I also added at the very bottom of 6c the words “Note: passes through...if it ended it’s move still within a TZ then example 7c opposite applies")Some potentially useful player aids can be found here, such as the “Quick Reference Sheets” from the Society of Ancients, and the new “Army List Corrections” file: fanaticus-dba.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Reference_sheets_and_epitomes And this is the latest January 2018 FAQ: fanaticus-dba.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ_2018
