Tonight (2nd August) at 9pm on BBC4, there is an hour long documentary about the excavation of an Iron Age village which burnt down (?was burnt down) 3000 years ago and the remains of which have been perfectly preserved in the peat soil of the Cambridgeshire Fens until they were discovered recently. It is repeated tomorrow at 10pm (and will presumably be on the iplayer thereafter.)

Looking forward to this. Some years back I visited the site at Flag Fen Peterborough. Very interesting.
