I am getting back into DBA and looking to see if there is anything in Indy or Chicago. I am willing to travel which is why I mention both cities.

Hi Panthros, welcome back to the flock. I'm not in the Chicago area, in the Ann Arbor Michigan which is a bit too far for you. But good news there is a DBA tournament at the Adepticoncon convention near Chicago at the end of March. Do a Google search on Adepticon to get the details. I will post them to the tournament thread in a few days. There are also a number of individuals around Chicago playing DBA. Look back in this thread to find them.

EVEN BETTER NEWS is that there will be two DBA tournaments at HMGS East Cold Wars in the middle of March in sunny Lancaster PA! If enough people show up we can have 3or 4 tournaments on the spot. Fewer 40k players than at Adepticon!

I am getting back into DBA and looking to see if there is anything in Indy or Chicago. I am willing to travel which is why I mention both cities. I live near Wheaton, 25 miles west of Chicago, & have both 28mm & 15mm armies for DBA 3.0. We have an informal group that plays DBA 3.0, among other things. The Adepticon in March (located in Schaumburg IL) has had a DBA 3.0 tournament the last 2 years. An announcement on that should be coming out shortly.

Fewer 40k players than at Adepticon! The DBA Tournaments are held in the Specialist Games Hall on the second floor. The hall is probably the nicest one in the con, quiet and peaceful. So, if your concerned with the 40k players, don’t be, they mostly stay down in the main convention hall and the 30k Ballroom, away from the DBA events. It’s a really nice tournament, very laid back and in a really nice location too. We have our own corner of the con, just for DBA. Just an opinion from a 40k player

I live in the city of Chicago and I play both DBA and HotT. I live very close to the Dice Dojo gaming store. I see your post was from 2017, but if you're still interested in playing DBA, hit me up. I have versions 1.1 and 3.0 of DBA.
