There are some quite powerful dismounting armies still allowed then? Also is there a file anywhere that lists all the Steppe armies? (Seems like something Stevie would have done?) Yep…. And no idea, but you’re right that somewhere there’s bound to be a list… P

Hi Paul, apart from the Wimp Wars rule, is dismounting "rules as written"? Paul H A knight to Remember also doesn’t allow dismounting. All others are RAW. Cheers P

Very mindful we are not creating a coffee table book. Diagrams have full art but illustrate game points. Occasional picture to fill out page space. I don't like flipping through rulebooks padded with pictures trying to find a rule. TomT Just qurious: do you use photos of figures, or illustrations? And if the latter, who is the artist? It will be photos for ‘effect’ and illustrations for rule diagrams - just a combination of PowerPoint and web graphics P

The casting is not as clean as I would have expected, with some occasional ‘flash’ needing removing, and more brittle than anticipated- lost a spear from the second unit on the deck. They’re painting up nicely though 👍 P These are 3d printed and not ultra cast? I just painted up some 3d printed figures, though from an independent vendor on etsy. I guess the resin chosen makes a difference, the figures I got are very slightly flexible and the long, thin sarissas are slightly bendy which is great. I did find the support contact points to clean up were different to clean than traditionally-cast metal figures. No idea… looking in the Plastic Soldier Company’s website, it’s tricky to find out exactly what their process is and the resin used for the Cromarty Forge ranges. I’m presuming they’re 3D prints. There’s virtually no flex in the figures… P

First time I’ve painted plastic 15mm and it’s an ‘interesting’ experience 😉 P What’s the main difference, Paul? The casting is not as clean as I would have expected, with some occasional ‘flash’ needing removing, and more brittle than anticipated- lost a spear from the second unit on the deck. They’re painting up nicely though 👍 P

And the full II/75 Kaya Korean army can now be seen here: www.facebook.com/groups/382414395294162/permalink/2270049636530619/Moving onto a batch of 3D resin prints from Cromarty Forge. This is an army that was won by Tom Whitehead at the Cold Ash Clash late last year and, with a few extras, we can each have a Late Imperial Roman army, with all the options. First time I’ve printed plastic 15mm and it’s an ‘interesting’ experience 😉 P

Ask the PIP dice…😁…there were two allies, I think, so three PIPs minimum to move the whole army. (?). The answer: by adding (two pairs of two) Samnite allies! It’s the first time, to my knowledge, that Baldie has been called a genius… 😂😂😂 P

Favourite moment watching my cav general getting 6-1’d by an overlapped warband general. K Who would have been so callous to do such a thing…??!! 😉😂

BBDBA question:- I’m not experienced at BBDBA, so wondering if others who play it more could help… If a command routs, do we count its lost sub-general (or even C-in-C) as ‘an extra element’. So, eg if a command of 12 elements inc their sub-general is demoralised, further damaged and thus removed (at 1/2 losses), is this actually worth THIRTEEN elements when it comes to counting total losses across the army for ‘army break point’ (p13 of my hardback) ? No, I don’t believe so and I’ve never played it that way. P
