I love DBA but the one problem to me has always been flank contact.
It is not logical at all
in the diagram number 2 if blue side contacts red and the top blue is not present does red turn to face value in 3.0?
If the answer is no due to an illegal contact then the game has a serious flaw.

I have three dba questions. 1. As a stand approaches a river at a 45 degree angle does the stand have to conform to the river’s edge crossing parallel to the river side or can it continue across at a 45 degree angle? I thought you can contact the river at a 45 degree angle but you must conform to cross the river since you can’t move down stream. 2. Army A has a SP stand in front edge to front edge contact with army B Blade stand. Army A has an army B PS stand closing the door on its SP stand. Then Army A then moves an AUX stand to close the door on the Army B Blade. My friend said the army A SP turns to face the army B PS and the Army B blade turns to face the army A Aux. I say no because the blade and spear are already contacted in combat in front with each other What do you say? 3. a column of a spear and a ps has the spear contacted legally in the side by a blade and also contacts the PS. I say the spear turns to face the blade with the ps behind it. So they both turn to face the blade. My friend says the spear turns and the ps backs away.
please help
