We aren’t that close but there is a group of us who play DBA Version 2.2 in the Kansas City area. I’m actually further away near Omaha but myself and several others get to KC for a couple of weekends and play 2 tourneys each time. Let us know if you are traveling up that way.

Anyone else still playing 2.2 consistently? We still have 4-6 tourneys a year in Nebraska and Missouri (Iowa has fallen off.)
Will have a tourney in March in Omaha, NE area. Will advise when a date has been settled but is tentatively set for March 11th.

Yes, would make for some fun discussion when someone from your area was near the top of the chart. Might make for some friendly banter.

Nebraska Area DBA Gamer's (NADBAG) will once again be sponsoring a 15mm version 2.2 tourney (yes 2.2 not 2.2+ or 3.0…just good ol' 2.2 which we know backwards and forwards and can have good competitive games with!) on Friday, Sept. 23rd at the Recruits convention held at Lee's Summit High school in Lee's Summit, MO.
Tournament will start at 6 pm CST. It is an Open, swiss style tournament, hopefully 4 rounds but possibly only 3. If we have at least 8 players a painted Alexandrian Macedonian army will be given as the first place prize.
Loaner armies, terrain and boards are available for use so just bring a desire to do battle and we will set you up to win (or lose!)

P.S. Stay the night in the area and play the next day in the Missouri Cup DBA tourney as well on Saturday afternoon with stops at the silent auction, vendors or other games held at the convention. $5 entry fee for all of that!
