I think you nailed it Bob, as the rules read only 4Kn recoil from 3Kn on a tie, nothing is mentioned about other Kn types like Hch or 6Kn. We will have to remain vigilant on this as I can see the 4Kn vs. HCh interaction getting overlooked as the 6Kn one was. HCh are A LOT more common than 6Kn, so I can see this creep up on us and surprise us. There are HUNDREDS of games of DBA Pre-3.0 that I need to get out of our system and take a look at some of these interesting interactions. There is just so many wroinkles that we keep finding in this great game.

Looks like an oversight on our part. I'm actually surprised we haven't had more of these due to the nature of playing/filming pace. As a matter of fact I'm not sure we have had 4Kn confront 6Kn in any of previous games we have played. No matter how many games you play, new situations always seem to creep up.

I don't think they are overpowered. One Artillery will certainly neuter them, not to mention the Psiloi that Mike mentions above.

I find that I'm posting images more and more on the FB DBA group page. It is so much more convenient. Cheers, This is SOOOO true.

I tried this method too and it is quicker than using Photobucket. It seems to work from the computer. I'll have to see if I can do it directly from my phone, which is my main method of uploading pictures.

We would live to have you come down and join us, Mike. I do not enjoy flying either (due to turbulence/unexpected dips) but find that alcohol does wonders.

In the past I have used Photobucket for my picture hosting needs.
I really only use a picture hosting site to post pictures directly here on a forum such as this one.
Just this morning I received an email from Photobucket them claiming that my free account does not include 3rd Party hosting.
Is there another picture hosting site that you would recommend instead?

Leaving the text of DBA 3.0 aside (which we can't change anyway), would this rule clarify and solve the "contacting enemy while Pursuing" problem? "If a Pursuing Stand’s front edge contacts an enemy, the Pursing Stand must attempt to conform to the enemy Stand. If the Pursuing Stand cannot conform, the contacted enemy Stand must attempt to conform. If neither can conform, cancel the Pursuit." TomT I like this.

Some of the lead tournament players in the US have fully embraced DBA 3.0 after we gave them a good go and have found 3.0 to be the best version of DBA thus far. The reason others have not, will have to be answered by those players in question. I suspect it is a for a multitude of reasons. Our group just did not have an agenda either way and were willing to play what others wanted (and we wanted to play games, not argue.) I'm following this thread with interest BTW.

I base my thinking on this from... "Elements contacted this bound by enemy or whose front edge is still in contact when combat ends automatically conform if necessary." Joe, where is that sentence located? I'm going to highlight it because it is very useful. Thanks in advance.

Quick Reply off the top of my head. 1. No you can't contact. 2. B2 Turns to face 3. No Overlaps Joe Collins Joe, While I agree with your positions I asked a similar question a few months ago RE: Question 2 and the consensus was that the Kn had to stop short or that it would not advance. Here it is below: fanaticus.boards.net/thread/647/pike-block-advances-enemy-conformMaybe the situation is slightly different. I just wish we could all play by the same interpretations.
