Are there collectors of the long-defunct, " Wild Geese Miniatures" on this forum? If so, this collection of 15mm Parthians may be of interest to you. Mix of cataphracts, cataphract camels, and light horse. Note: This is not a standalone DBA Parthian army, but these rare, vintage figures, most of which are unpainted, might supplement your existing, "Wild Geese" Parthians. They may be just the figures you've been looking for. $20 USD, or best offer, for the entire lot. Free postage within the US. (At-cost postage elsewhere on the planet.) PayPal. PAHannah@aol.com (Sorry for the lo-res photo, but such are the size-restrictions for attachments on this site.)

Those look similar to these I picked up some time back on Ebay - If you can confirm that (and possibly ID the non-Parthians) I am interested.

"Goragrad", yes, I can confirm the "Wild Geese Miniatures" figures I am offering match exactly those in the first two pics you posted. (I can't help you ID the dudes in that photo, however.)

Thanks - I think I'll have to end up fielding a BBDBA army from that Middle East powerhouse Hatra to put all of the camels to use, but you have to protect those trade routes...
I recall getting some Mike's Romans off ebay from you Paul. Same paypal?

Yep. PAHannah...AOL... Thanks. I'll likely get them in the mail to you as soon as tomorrow. Enjoy.
--And I'm glad they'll get put to good use and be with others of their same "kin". That was exactly my purpose in posting them here first.

As I saw a tracking label on the package I presume you are aware that the Wild Geese have landed.
Just thought I'd confirm that I got them.
Lovely paint job on those you had completed. More muted in colors than my own, but quite a bit above my own brush work. Will be interesting to work them in to a complete army (I have enough of the sword waving LH to fill the list and plenty of cats).
I will have to do some repairs though - the USPS apparently decide to disarm the camelphracts and for good measure kneecapped the central camel (one of the LH lost a tail as well). I had noted with the other minis from Wild Geese that their metal appeared to be somewhat brittle - quite a few of the horse I got in other lots over the years are missing tails and the Parthians I got elsewhere recently have a number of horses that will require work on broken legs. In the real world of course the solution is to just shoot them, but being a softy I prefer to heal them up so that they can continue to be of service.
At any rate, thanks for the opportunity to grow the mountain.

Sorry to hear there was some minor breakage in-transit. I tried to pack them with lotsa padding and such. Not well enough, it seems.

As I noted, Wild Geese seems to have used a particularly brittle alloy.
About half of the horses I have gotten (admittedly second hand) have broken off tails. A number of the previously acquired unpainted cataphract horses have broken legs and a couple were even separated from their bases.
I would however deal with repairs of this nature than some of the extreme lead rot I have to deal with with some of the old Asgard minis. Some clibanarii I got a few years ago could have been painted up as zombies the pits from the lead rot were so bad. And some Parthians I got recently will probably require replacement of 80 percent of the horses - the rot weakened the legs to the point that most of those bases have separated and it is moot that enough good metal is left to be able to repair them.
While having had a number of packages mistreated through the years (the USPS can on occasion do wonders at damaging contents), I'll chalk this up to the alloy.
Again though in spite of the damage, it is good to have had the chance to pick these up (and finally get to know who the manufacturer was). The fact that some of the figures wasre painted (and so well) is a bonus.
