Natcon 2017 is to be held in Christchurch New Zealand over Easter weekend. Natcon, held annually, is NZ's largest wargames convention. Due to reduced support from out of town gamers DBA has been scaled back to a single day.

Nice report Keith. The Aztecs certainly turned out to be the surprise packet of the comp.

Indeed the Aztecs were a bit of a surprise. I fight them every so often with my son's Tlaxcalans and have as a result learnt some of their strengths and weaknesses. However, on the day they were more resilient than I suspect anyone expected.
It has been pointed out that the English priests in the final photo are aptly pictured praying as the heathen are locked in battle.
