Nice.
Of course it will be Huns or another Steppe army as I don't have Magyars yet. Although I see some sources stating that all the Steppe lads look alike anyway...

Actually, Timurilank, does redefining a setup parameter qualify as a rule change? Seems just to be more of a historical scenario condition.
At any rate it appears that the multiple ally condition did have an impact as well.l.
Interesting report as usual.

Each allied contingent supplied one noble (3Kn) and one spear (Sp).
These nobles were deployed on either wing and were immediately engaged by the Magyar, while their spearmen, positioned as a reserve in the camp. As these were not moved until actually needed, the group movement restriction for allied contingents was not really a problem; a learning experience served up with six games.
Still, the Italian Lombard is still capable of winning against the Magyar, but I will leave that to others to experiment with.

Migration to Kingdom – 923 AD, the Battle of Firenzuola Berengar I, who fought the Magyars at Brenta 24 years earlier, now confronts a possible usurpation of his rule as King of Italy.
Unfortunately for Berengar, the usurper is supported by the Holy Church of Rome.

Goragrad, All the test games were intense games; even the Qaramitan dealt a crushing defeat on the Abbasid. This one report followed closely the historical events. In comparison with the previous scenarios, these games took less time to reach a decision.

Migration to Kingdom – 936 AD, the Battle of Trans-la-Fôret
This completes the series of eight Dark Age scenarios for DBA 3.0 and sets the Bretons against the Vikings in northwest France. This was a good exercise in selecting obscure battles and through the bits and pieces of the historical puzzle construct a balanced scenario for the game board. dbagora.blogspot.com/2018/08/939-ad-battle-of-trans-la-foret.html
At the end of this week, you can read a battle report of this game.

939 AD, refighting the Battle of Trans-la- Fôret This ended in a decisive victory and completes the series of Dark Age scenarios.
To be honest, this project was undertaken to fill the void while waiting for the release of Eureka’s 15mm Sumerian range. Still awaiting their release, but fortunately, I do have plenty of small projects to keep me busy. dbagora.blogspot.com/2018/08/939-ad-refighting-battle-of-trans-la.html

Now we know why the northern men adopted horses and became knights!
Another fine scenario and battle report. Thank you!

Interesting scenario and nice report.
Was definitely wondering how the CV would acquit themselves. Additional mobility vs the quick kill of a KN based army.
Definitely seem to have worked out.
P.S. I have some of the Essex Bretons and had been debating building a Breton army or mixing them in with the Normans (as Essex does in their army pack). As I am short of Book II armies it seems like a good idea.
