I’ve recently returned to DBA after a very long hiatus. I’ve never been much of a modeler or painter, but I’m getting a bit tired of playing with cardboard armies and my family is enthusiastic about the painting.
Classical Indians is the first range I’m looking at doing. What 15mm range would people recommend I get? My criteria are reasonable price (why I’d prefer a US distributor), no excessive scale creep, reasonable ease of painting and use, and a decent range of opponents (thinking I might pick up EAPs and Scythians at the same time).
Museum looks great for Indians. Khurasan’s other ranges interest me quite a bit but they don’t have Indian chariots.
Thoughts?

I only didn't get Museum's Classical Indians because I was already getting too many Hoplites. I *will* be getting some next January though. Their Hoplites are spectacular.
Scale Creep is a good option too, I like the Macedonians I got from them.

I have a few Museum Miniature Classical Indian cavalry and LH figures, sent by mistake. Let me know if you're interested, I'll send them as soon as I can remember where I put them.

I do like the look of Old Glory’s figs, but the scale issues concern me a little.

I do like the look of Old Glory’s figs, but the scale issues concern me a little. My Classical Indian are all Old Glory 15mm miniatures as are the majority of figures for the ancient period. Figure types come in a variety of poses, therefore adding other manufacturers is not really necessary. dbagora.blogspot.com/2023/10/pike-versus-longbow.html

Excellent info, thank you so much! These OG15s are nice, and their range has a lot of the stuff I’d want for a EAP and Scythian army too. Possibly a bad choice for armies to start with, I should have picked something that only has one manufacturer so I wouldn’t be paralyzed by indecision.

Most armies have multiple manufacturers to pick from, which can indeed cause analysis paralysis. I feel your pain, I'm stuck in that situation planning for a II/56 army.
I'll just note my plans for Classical Indians. Based on the spectacular sculpts and castings from their Hoplites, I'm planning on Museum Miniatures for the Classical Indian armies. They have everything needed for any of that group.
