For the start of Hanukkah, and for entertainment purposes only, here are the won-loss records of the various Jewish armies in DBA, as culled from the COMPENDIVM, the records of our local NAGS group over the last couple decades. Alas, only one has a winning record, the II/43 Maccabeans (58-40), and the I/34 Later Hebrews (15-33) are quite dreadful. Many have only a handful of results. Your results may vary!
It's a longer list than one might think!
I/27 Early Hebrew, 8-29
I/34 Later Hebrew, 15-33
II/22e Arabo-Aramaean / Adiabene*, 4-4 Queen Helena of Adiabene became a convert Judaism about the year of 30 CE.
II/23c Later Pre-Islamic Arab / Yemeni (Himyarite Kingdom), 2-3 Himyarite kings and perhaps the greater population embraced Judaism in the 4th Century CE.
II/43 Maccabean Jewish, 58-40
II/50 Hasmonean Jewish, 3-3
II/51 Late Judaean, 16-21
II/59 Jewish Revolts, 9-25
III/16 Khazar, 47-76 Khazar rulers (but likely not the general population) adopted Judaism in the 8th Century for reasons of political expediency, caught between Muslim Umayyad and Orthodox Byzantine superpowers.

In the series of test games, the Jewish Revolt will meet Imperial Rome. It will be interesting to see if they can improve on your record.

Locally, against EIR, the Jewish Revolt army is a woeful 5-16. Mr. Titus has clearly had his way with them. Suggestions or other tactical advice welcome! And curious what you mean by "the series of test games"? (I haven't been on Fanaticus a lot in recent months.)

And curious what you mean by "the series of test games"? (I haven't been on Fanaticus a lot in recent months.) I completed an Early Imperial Roman, of two commands, in April of this year. Rome was put to the test in a series of standard games against 15 opponents. The series ended with 18 wins/ 12 losses for Rome. The current series uses a double size command of 24. The question arose, could Rome’s score improve with an increase number of elements? We shall see and the Jewish Revolt are now on the list of opponents.

Tomorrow the EIR are having a game of HC vs the ancient British. I do now own a decently sized Jewish force so maybe next time.
