Having a spare half hour yesterday, I worked out the factors for a one on one combat Cm v 4Kn. (Not all that realistic perhaps, but it gives one a rough idea.)
At the moment, with CF of 3 v 4, the Cm are destroyed 6 times out of the possible 36 combinations of dice and the 4 Kn are destroyed 10 times. The odds favour the Cm, but not massively so.
Increase the Cm's CF to 4 and the Cm will only be destroyed on a 1-6 throw, so one chance in 36, while the 4Kn will be destroyed 15 times. If you think this is a better reflection of what happened historically, feel free to make the change. Personally, I don't.
If one increases the Cm's CF to 4 but removes the QK, the chances of either element destroying the other are 1 in 36, which doesn't feel right either.
