Quick question. When I used war wagons before I assumed they shot like bow, but in rereading I’m thinking it’s a 3 vs foot and 4 vs mounted whether shooting or in close combat. Correct?

You have to be very careful about the model you use for your war-waggon.
My German army had the early version, carrying supplies with the shielded sides slung underneath. Latter ones might have guns firing out of the long side, and be left and right handed.
WWG are another problem in the rules, probably needing a couple of pages within the rules, and a supply of aspirin attached.
