Kingmaker has long been used by many as an engine for WotR games! I backed the Kickstarter and got Kingmaker the Second, nice improvements over the original. Alas, don't have a pile of WotR figs to run a minis campaign from it. I've concentrated on the HYW at the time of the Black Prince for my campaign sized collection of later medievals (much bigger pool of enemies and allies).

I will ask our local board game shop if he will stock Kingmaker II or if he can order it. My Book IV armies are all Late Medieval (1450 – 1500), so this should be fun.

Today is Gibsons Games 104th birthday and also launch day for Kingmaker II for general release, so if you missed out on the Kickstarter campaign you should be able to get your copy now.

I now have Kingmaker II and, aside from reading the rules, the next step is to paint flags for the principle leaders.
All standards for the late medieval collection are interchangeable and these will make a nice addition to the collection.
