MeWe is a non-Facebook social site, avoiding some undesired data mining. There’s a DBA-Hott Wargaming group on there. If Fanatici wanted to, they could share some pics and news on there….? mewe.com/group/5fafe8eda8c6e10c119ef1dccheers Martin

Martin, Never been a fan of social media beyond writing a letter or email or joining an online group like dba fanaticus. Signed up but it looks just as jumbled as other social media sites... perhaps I should head back to chalk and board technology where Keep It Simple rules....

CarlL techno phobe Hello Karl I think things are going back in time and have been for some years. It feels like 25/28mm ancient armies and nice large models, even if robots etc. are in. I might even get to play with Britain style figures, as I did once in a ballroom, very peculiar feeling on hands and knees as the sprung floor moved a fraction. David Constable

David
Apologies for late reply.
If web based media helps us all communicate safely and freely on likes of hobby matters then its a good thing, if sometimes not simple to access for some of us (like me!) !! I find facebook and google both intrusive. It appears to me that there is much monitoring of processes that are often for commercial benefit rather than protecting users.
I am a fan of many scales. My first 'ancients' were plastic 54mm ish "Cherolee" (not sure if that's their correct trade name) Vikings and plastic "Timpo" medieval figures. And my first games (pre finding Donald Featherstone) were played on the floor, on a grid of vinyl floor tiles. I only had a few Britain's and a few Herald figures (metal and plastic respectively) in those days.

Hello Karl
The only users being protected are the companies, put a file onto the cloud and its contents will be known in China and USA in about 15mins, and analized for words in 30mins. Which is why my favourite computer runs Millenia edition and CD.
Yes the DF book and Airfix figures changed everything for me, fun.
look after yourself.
