Impressive Falcon gate. Where did you buy it? I bought it at least 15 years ago from at now defunct wargaming shop in Sydney. Ah, the Tin Soldier of blessed memory where the original Tin Soldier range of figures were born. Cheers Robert,

Wow, really good job on the painting, the stonework is quite impressive.
Too late now, but that piece would have been good to make a plaster mould from.

Much appreciated. Citadel's Contrast Paints over a white primer basescoat is the secret. Cheers, Thanks for that tip, because I mean it, even just looking at the window sized pic. I am impressed with the result. I have never used white primer, only stuck to grey, but now you have some little wheels turning on how different primers can create very different and better results, as comparing your stonework to mine clearly shows.

I spent years only using black primer as I liked to be able to leave black shadows. Unsurprisingly when I started to use white the figs were much more vibrant. I have got some badmoon yellow contrast paint for a HoTT project, not been impressed with most contrast jobs I have seen but have seen some great jobs.

PS for those wanting biblical or other scenery, like temples, then an old UK business still makes resin scenery of spectacular nature, admittedly aimed at 25/28mm figure players, but I have used some pieces with 15mm & 6mm figures too. (Spectacular impact of small 25mm style Sudanese Pyramids in 6mm Napoleonic in Egypt!!) See www.monolithdesigns.co.uk/ Click on icon at bottom of this page relevant to your terrain interest, eg Egypt (where you will find much of interest to Sudanese dynasties from biblical to 19th century!) or Azrec or Darkest Africa, as examples. Additionally for those wanting walls or buildings, in mdf kits you will find lots of scales and periods covered at Blotz. See blotz.co.uk/product-category/wargames-terrain/ CarlL PPS I have no commercial or other links to these firms save as past customer
