I tried to breakdown this list and followed my usual 'tried and tested' method: (1) Temporal separation - e.g. 'Only after 1265 ad' - no problems (2) Named places - e.g. 'Only in China or Manchuria' - so far, so good
Unfortunately there are two undefined terms to deal with - 'Central Asia' & 'South-East Asia'. I'm guessing that the average person might consider Java and Japan to be in SE Asia whilst Manchuria and Mongolia look like Central.
Can anyone help with clarifications?

I would consider that Vietnam is the northern most limit of SE Asia, Indonesia being its southern limit and Burma/Myanmar its western edge. Japan is definitely northern Asia and China eastern Asia. Central Asia would be to the west of China. Cheers,
