Tony: I missed the images of the 3Bd and Ps - did you post them earlier? Thanks, Jeff Look on Page 58 of this thread for the pictures.

Today the Konstantinian Byzantines received the last of the LH elements. The last three elements of Cv are now in the painting trays so when one more element is painted I can start on a new army
Woo Hoo!

Today I finished off the Art element to go with my Wallachians. I included the Wallachians in my Baltic campaign set to boost the number of possible armies but given that it has a start date past the campaign start I have removed them from the roster. However I plan to bring them up to code as part of the current project.
Cheers

Sunday saw the completion of my last Sassanid element - the purpose built II/69c Sassanid army joined the Purple Compliant ranks as army number 91.
It also marks the start of my II/62b Abyssinian army as I slapped a load of Derivan Mini's "Dark Flesh" onto a strip of mounted (1xLH(Gen), 1xLCm) and foot (2x3Wb, 1x3Bw, 1xPs)
I also took stock of my collection of Chinese figures and decided that rather than building up a Later Tang tacking the unpainted figures onto what I already had (2x3Bd, 2x3Bw, 1x3Wb, 2x7Hd - one of the Hd lost a middle figure due to broken ankles) and decided to make a whole new army with a combination of the Khursan Tang and the new Essex Tang. Looking among the existing Asian scrap figures I had enough to make up a fair whack of the II/42b Sha'To Turk (the one with Chinese subjects) and some spare Cv and LH figures unpainted to finish off the mix. This is now a priority project to get some scrap build armies ready for sale at MOAB. Over this week I will be trimming and undercoating the remaining elements for the following IV/3 Anglo Norman - (4x3Kn, 1x4Pk) III/40a Viking - (10x3Bd) III/42b Sha'To Turk - (2xCv, 2xLH) IV/55b Ottoman - (2xCv, 2xLH)
If the painting Gods are kind I will have them done in time for my next club meet and they can be sold there to cover my MOAB expenses, otherwise I will take them to the MOAB bring and buy
cheers

I haven't yet assembled all of the strips for Operation MOAB Scrap Build but today I finished off 2xLH for the Ottomans in said operation, 1x7Hd for one of my Anglo Danish and 1xCv for my Konstantinian Byzantine.
This marks a milestone, when I move the last element of Byzantine Cv to the Undercoated tray and the penultimate Cv to the underway tray I can put the first two strips of a new army into the starting tray. Unless I get home tonight to find the Khurusan Order (Jurchen Jin) has arrived I will most probably start the Southern Sung with Khurusan figures, although there is an outside change I man instead have a go at a Papal Italian.
Cheers

More nice work Vexillia.
So, got the order from Alternative Armies last Friday with the 12th bidower, so prepped and primed him and added him to the queue. Just finished painting him today making 6 elements of PS for the French (or other army calling for them).
Also finished painting and put on their bases 6 elements of Low Country PK. Added two of the PK from the recent order to the two already in the queue to make another element that will give me the ability to field a double Low County army. Probably hold off on the remainder of the ordered PK until I get the Lombards done. Need more Book III armies.

Finally updating my New Kingdom Egyptians and my Nubians to DBA 3. Should be fun, I like both armies and they tend to give interesting matches. Probably even more so now, with all the colourful new stuff thrown in. About 20 minis need painting. Should be do-able.

Wrapping up the 12 elements of Ottonian KN.
Then out of town for the rest of the week so painting (and likely comments here due to poor/spotty internet) on hold.
Have added 4 elements of Prussian 3WB to queue for the Teutonics for when I get back.

Nubians and Egyptians are finished and ready to go.
Need to decide whether I should do the Thracians or the Assyrians next...

I am not quite at the stage that I can claim to be painting, but the past few days were spent preparing and modifying some 15mm British Peninsular War figures from Blue Moon; British Generals, Rifles and Dragoon cavalry. I enjoyed designing the Dark Age scenarios that I decided to do a short series set in Portugal of 1808/09 and for that I will need British and Portuguese to meet the French.
A brief report of this latest project will be posted to the 18th Century Sojourn blog tomorrow.

I love my Xyston but boy had I forgotten how much fun it is to drill their tiny little hands for their tiny little spears.
