Something HotT: A Boeing Stearman Caydet (Revell model 1/72) as flyer for my HUMANS (50ies American army). Oh boy, it crashed. Repairs will take some time.

Well, Follywood Exclusive – Balls of Fire recreated It may not be fact nor historical, but Follywood likes a good story so here with wheels are “Expendables” (in the language of DBMM), or if you prefer some improvised fire log ‘chariots’ !! (Possibly DBA scythed chariot logs?) Two completed two near completion as pictured below. Slightly modified 25mm/28mm 1st Corps ‘Fiery Rollers’ (sic) (code SLV02) aka “Rolling Bails of Fire” on their website (see 1stcorps.co.uk/product/rolling-bails-of-fire/ ) CarlL PS It’s just a bit of fun and yes nothing historical beyond appearing in the film!! And nothing that could be included in the official Spartacus DBA army before you are tempted to do so at next tournament!! CarlL

Now for something completely different! Germanic Cavalry expanded After completing my 25/28mm BIG DBA Early Germanic army, I still had several cavalry figures left in my box of some 30 to 40 years storage; so I decided to give more options for cavalry by painting them up. So here are 12 Irregular Miniatures 28mm, 2 (slightly modified) Warrior 25mm riders (on random big horses), and 1 Foundry 25/28mm rider (on random big horse). Random in sense of I can’t recall their manufacturer and in my spare horse box! The horse head bronze ‘standard’ might be from 1st Corps or possibly Newline Designs, another memory ‘glitch’ by this senior (or should that be senile) citizen !! Enjoy CarlL

That's a canny looking fire effect you have going on there!
We did something similar to place on k'od tanks in micro games using cotton wool and poster paints adding dark greys and black to show a little oil in the mix. 💥💥💥

Haardrada, good idea for micro and probably even 15mm and 20mm brewed up tanks. I must experiment with black 'wool' (artificial kapok) if I can find some! CarlL
