Today my 13th Century Scots Common Army joins the ranks of the DBA3 compliant with the completion of the Highland 3Bw and the Feudal Archers (Mtd-3Bw)
I was building a second of these armies (one to be commanded by Bruce, the other by Wallace and Murray). That one received its second element of dismounted Pk. However I have put this army on hold while I try and rush through getting my Yuan Era campaign set up to code for this year's campaign.
cheers

Just finished 3 x Sabir archers (4Bw). For a third command Byzantine; 1 x Herul (3Kn), 2 x Skutatoi, 2 x psiloi and 1 x cavalry (Cv).
All figures were extras from the previous order. To complete the third command I need only order one pack of Byzantine cavalry.

Yesterday I knocked off the last element of Ps, and today finished the final LCh and Sp for my Trojan army.
Next new army project is Nan Chao, and getting others of my Yuan era campaign set up to DBA3 code.
I should finish off the Yuan and the Khmer by next week, while struggling long and hard with the Early Samurai.
If all goes well that entire set will be done before this year's campaign is done and dusted
Cheers

Today the Khmer Maiden Guard Cv were completed. Hopefully next week I will have knocked over the full Khmer additions along with the last three Yuan elements. Today also marks the day that the first dabs of paint went onto my Nan Chao Cheers

The Yuan are now fully DBA3 compliant as 1xPs (handgunners), 1x3Bw and 1x4Bw were finished off today.
This week the plan is to complete the Khmer and the Pre Islamic Arab (City and Nomad) elements

I've finally returned to the painting table. It's been about 8 weeks since I undercoated 2 elements worth of Kn. So far I've completed the riders and tomorrow I'll move on to their mounts. I'm using Baueda's Norman and Viking ranges to represent a late Leidang army.
Cheers,

Well I did finish the Arabs (2x3Bw, 1xCv(Gen)) so I can count my Yuan and my Pre Islamic Nomads and Pre Islamic City Dwellers as fully DBA3 compliant
On the weekend I held a massive basefest and aside from the elements listed I also fully rebased 7 elements of my Early Samurai - I don't have access to the original brown sand that I used on the thick card bases for my Samurai from way back last decade when I built the army to the 2.2 lists. So I have soaked the figures off their bases and rebased
2x6Cv, 2xCv, 2x3Bd, 4x3Ax, 3x4Bw - on laminate with magnetic strip (Provided by Olympian Games), and used crushed pumice painted mid brown (the colour is named 'Mud Puddle') with some small dark brown rock (called ballast) from the model shop and large dry grass tufts from Leadbear. I have to paint 1x3Bd and 1x3Ax to make the army battle ready and then fill in the remaining elements
Cheers

War & Empire's Atecotti Fanatics & the Dal Riatan Mercenaries. Based, primed & beginning to paint them.
Actually done in time for St Patrick's! As luck would have it I have a couple of Scots-Irish armies (Old Glory & Essex) and a SPLM Pictish army. But when I saw these I wanted to see how they look. So I combined the two bags of 24 for what will be a HotT army mostly but can still show up as DBA now and then. I think they're great figures and paint up well even for someone like me. I'll try to talk my wife into a little camera work.
This makes my third W&E army along with Spartacus and an Early German one. Recommended.
Cheers, A

One of mercenary companies, which served Teutonic Order during Thirteen Years' War. In my opinion IV/13c fits better than IV/30, but pikes should be replaced by blades (hussite type infantry).
