Welcome Chris, This is a beautiful series of miniatures and looking at the Nan-Chau (III/36) list this is quite an eclectic collection of troop types. These are certainly an army to have as an enemy of the Mongols.

Well, it's about time they listed them on their website! The pre-order folks have gotten theirs a couple of years ago now. I have an army that I bought from Rich Gause last year and they are in the painting queue (not that is means they will be painted anytime soon.)

I just pulled this army out of drydock, where it has lain for far too long, awaiting a "Purple" renovation. I have just a few figures to paint. Too bad, really, as they are SUCH a joy to paint. Really looking forward to having this army back online.

One of my favorite armies, Paul. For painting or playing Tony? Your Nan Chao look lovely so I guess painting is a yes. I haven’t got around to doing them myself yet but definitely an intent. Just started a Tang army so they’ll need an opponent.

Just started a Tang army so they’ll need an opponent. Both. They are some of the most beautiful castings I have painted AND definitely a fun and challenging army. They also have a very unusual troop composition from my other armies.
