So we know that Fast Units don't give or receive side support, but what about rear support?
i.e. If 2x3Pk, can they rear support each other?, how about 2x3Wb?
Now the big question:
- Can a 3Wb rear support a 4Wb? Or a 3Pk support a 4Pk, or do they have to be the same kind? Obviously they would have to move at the speed of the slowest, and this might not apply to the majority of armies since they would have only 1 or the other kind.

Now the big question: Or a 3Pk support a 4Pk, There's a list that can't do it . is correct...and the army is III/36 Nan-chao & Ta-li (728 - 1382 AD). This army has 2 x guards (4Pk) and 4 x spearmen (3Pk/3Ax)...but the last line of the army description says:- “Only guards can provide rear support for guards” Note that it doesn’t say only 4Pk can support 4Pk, but that only guards can support guards. Just to cover all the bases - is it vice versa? Can a 4Wb give rear support to a 3Wb?
