I highly recommend this box set if you can find it anymore:
Corvus Belli Later Carthaginian DBA box set.
I bought 3 of 'em back in the day to build a BBDBA carth army. Ok, originally it was for a FOB starter army but I just couldn't play that game...
The figs are glorious.
But even better, when you buy 3 boxes of them, because the Carthaginians are such a varied army, with only a couple of extra purchases, you get:

But even better, when you buy 3 boxes of them, because the Carthaginians are such a varied army, with only a couple of extra purchases, you get:
- A Numidian DBA army (buy a Numidian elephant, some imitation legionaries, and a general Cv and you're good to go)
- A Spanish DBA army allowing the Cv to be Celtibarian plus you'll need a general
- A Gallic DBA army (buy a chariot or foot general. Also you'll get quite a lot of Wb, so with 3 boxes you can make 6x4Wb + 6x3Wb, but you might need some for Ps)
- A later Carth DBA army b, with those 6 Poeni Spear, since you'll have 9! I bought another 2 packets for Veteran Spears bringing my total up to 11 bases...
Corvus a little big for 15mm so I'll be picking up the spares care of Xyston which should supply everything you need.
Anyway, can't rave about this box enough (sad that they are out of print, but being brought out by another company).
Lastly a question. I was planning on doing Numidian Elephants without a Howda. Is this right or do I really need one? I don't want him to look just like the Carth elephants.
Corvus Belli did make a Numidian El with Numdian Bw sitting in the howda but I wasn't sure how I felt about that.
