Salutations, gentlefolk !
You may remember me from back in the 'oughts'.
Real Life did a number on me but life finally seems to be getting back to even keel, KOW. (And then, when I try to reactivate my Fanaticus account, find out it's closing down :-( ). Finances not quite together enough to get to Historicon, but plan to be at Fall In.
Anyway, if you're interested in a DBA match, anywhere that can be reached by NJ Transit or PATH from Newark Penn, by NYC subway or bus from a PATH station, or by NJ Transit from Trenton or Camden, or SEPTA, zap me an Enote.
Am told there's Ancients miniatures in action at Maplewood Hobby - maplewoodhobby.com - on Tuesday evenings, can't personally vouch for it yet, but the group that meets there Thursdays is great bunch of guys.
Getting some new armies together, recommendations on US 'mail order' dealers in 15's, who'll ship a small order without great shipping charges ?
Hoping y'all are healthy and happy. Have a great summer (or winter, if you in Southern Hemisphere dwell.)
Yours, John Desmond

Any students or alumni from Newark ? One project I'm thinking of is a public DBA game between the Highlanders of New Jersey Inst of Technology and the Scarlet Raiders (Vikings?) of Rutgers-Newark. (The campuses are on opposite sides of Martin Luther King Blvd.)
Target date, maybe next summer???
Yours, John

Hi John, I disappeared for a while as well and have tried to resurface, but life throws some curveballs! Anyways, the guys at Maplewood do a DBA Sunday and you can get in on it by going to their Yahoo! group here: groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/MaphogsI haven't gone yet, but I have played DBA and Hail Caesar with those guys a couple times a few years ago and I can say they are a great group. Where are you in Jersey? I live in Saddle Brook and work in Ramsey. Maybe we can set up some games? I don't have 3.0 yet though, been obsessing with SAGA. -Mike Porter
