TBH I personally prefer the slightly angled views, I know it means the precise view of base alignment is not as clear but I think the models look better. Just watching the Welsh and Anglo-Saxons. Keep em coming, thanks I agree with Baldie. The figures look better and, somehow, the angled shot makes you feel part of the game more. It looks lnatural. Simon Cool, thanks for the input.

Hi Tony Great videos, as per usual I would have ruled on the column pursuit differently in this one... I would have expected the group contacted to confirm, as the contacting group couldn't, or they fight at -1, and both of the pursuing Wb in column would have stayed together. P.

Thanks for the great videos Tony - a good theme leading to some exciting battles. Nice to see Warband in use against something different than blades.
I’d have ruled the pursuit the same as paulisper - but I had to do a lot of reading to come to that conclusion and it didn’t make a jot of difference to the end result.

Of course, therein lies the problem: "seem s & unwritten rule"This is what makes DBA 3.0 nearly impossible for us to ever get it 100 percent right. I have resigned myself to only getting most of it right. That is until an English version of the rules comes along, or until someone with better knowledge of the rules comes along and makes videos.

32" crotch Yeah, the new camera angle does give a 'skewed' view on things ...

The two Harbachs face of in the third installment of the Battle of the Bands. Attila's Huns vs. West Patrician Roman. youtu.be/2uckwDjlIqoAnother interesting contact dilemma at the end of that one too. I would think there were two options here: 1) Pursuit cannot end in legal four edge to side edge contact, so it doesn't happen OR 2) The group contacted must turn and conform, as the single pursuing element is prevented from doing so by the element to its left P.

Been re-watching some of the videos and one of the tips that I've picked up is that you don't need to be side by side with another friendly element in order to stop an enemy from closing the door. You only need to be close enough so that an enemy 'door closer' would stray into your TZ. I haven't done the geometry but I suspect that you can be up to 80mm away from the front corner of the friend you want to support. Thanks to Tony, Mitch and Luke for that.
