AM: DBA-RRR Battle Ceresole 1544 GM: Jim Riley This was the last large battle of the Great Italian Wars and was historically an extremely bloody affair. The Imperialist and French armies each broke one of their opponent's flanks and victory went to the side that was able to pull itself together and deliver the final devastating charge. Session 2 - Fri- afternoon: Hokey Pokey DBA 3.0 Tourney (all armies must have at least 4 pike (3Pk or 4Pk elements qualify) GM: Tony Aguilar Session 3 - Fri. EVE: DBA 3.0 Dark Ages Tourney (476 AD-1065 AD armies) GM: Tony Aguilar All eligible armies must be from 476AD to 1065 AD. Session 4 - Sat - AM: Battle of Maldon 991 AD BBDBA 3.0 Game GM: Don Harting Big Battle DBA 3.0 Game re-creating the historical Battle of Maldon between Anglo-Saxons of Essex England and Norwegian Vikings during one of the frequent raids of English coastal towns. Rather than paying off the Vikings, they sallied forth to drive them off English lands. Session 5 - Sat. - afternoon: Armies and Enemies of China DBA 3.0 Tourney GM: David Shepps Eligible armies listed in back of 3.0 book – under China and their enemies Session 6 - Sat. Eve: 15mm DBA 3.0 Open Tourney GM: Tony Aguilar Use any army from any period in the DBA 3.0 (or 2.2 book) Session 7 - Sun AM: When Vikings Ruled the Seas DBA 3.0 Campaign. GM: Don Harting A Mini DBA 3.0 Campaign game which features Dark Age Northern European and Norwegian Viking armies that compete for land and survival.

And I am hoping Tacticon that same weekend will have at least one DBA event.

Another great Hurricon draws to a close. We had one of the most successful turnout for DBA games. We had several new players and one of them even won an event!
DBA-RRR Battle of Ceresole 1544 - 6 players - run by Jim Riley The French players beat up the center and right flank of the Spanish forces and won.
Hokey Pokey DBA Tournament - run by Tony Aguilar (all armies had to have a minimum of four pike units)
