With few posts in this part of the forum I thought it time to post a link to some game photos. This time of my Sumatrans engaged against my opponents Turks. The game involves 300 point armies and is of roughly equivalent size to BBDBA. Additional photos can be found on my Renaissance Blog: renaissancewargaming.wordpress.com/2017/07/25/ottoman-expeditions/

Excellent reports, and great pics. Those Grumpy's Indonesians look very familiar- mine were bought as Sumatran, Malay or Javan, but got reworked into Tamils later (having run them in v2.2 and realising they needed buckets of PIPs to move El, LH and double move Wb too). . Quirky, but extremely 'paintable' figures. Thanks for posting, Keith

Thanks Martin. I'm pleased the photos etc are of interest.
I've not used Sumatrans in DBA but they would consume lots of PIPs as you say. They are an odd army in both DBA and DBR. In DBR the troops can often cause confusion for players not familiar with them.
I have certainly considered rebasing for DBA 3.0, but the 4Wb would require more figures to be painted to maintain the army in DBR. That said I also have used a subset of figures for Tamils in DBA 3.0 and found that a fun army to use.
