Thank you for your kind words, guys!
Yesterday I had my first two games with these II/36a Graeco-Bactrians against my friend Korbi's I/43b Scythians:
In the first game four Scythian light horse outflanked my line and threatened both the rear side of my battle line and my camp. Luckily, I managed to turn an element of Bows and Auxilia each and to bring up an own light horse from my other flank to destroy three of the four invaders. The game resulted in a net 4-0 win.
The second game went a completely different way: I had an strong center line with four pikes, elephant and knight general, with my flanks protected by cavalry/light horse and auxilia/bows respectively. The scythians deployment was hemmed by a long piece of rough and it looked like I could slam into their line with overlaps on both sides with good chances for some kills. But then I messed up some die rolls and lost one pike element, while my knight general happily did win fight after fight, pursuing each time but without eliminating a single enemy element. He finally again recoiled a light horse and had to pursue into rough ground where he met an enemy psiloi and being overlapped his combat factor was reduced to 1! Needless to say that subsequently my proud knight general was eliminated by a Psiloi element (game lost 0-2G)... what a shame - but what a game!

Great looking army! Looking forward to see the camp when it is completed.
It is also always interesting to read of a new armies. Interestingly I fought a Graeco-Bactrian army at the weekend. The low aggression is useful often allowing terrain suitable for the phalanx to be selected.
