On Saturday I played a few games of DBA3, Colin suffered badly from my borrowed dice throws.
The die was borrowed from Alan, and he got it from me.
Now to my query/thought/idea. Most times I burn dice I do not like, this is fine, but I wonder what people are going to make of an Elizabethan (Elizabeth the first) drain with melted plastic dice in it, a very secure datable find.
How many finds have altered what we think of as history, but that are in fact out of place.

Ah, the curse of the contaminated context! A few archaeological reports suffer from the assumption that everything from, say, a 'Roman' site must be Roman - including from one report that comes to mind an, obviously, 18thc. watch winder!

David Constable I don’t know about the archaeology but you ought to keep Saturdays die for future DBA tournaments, David – it’s a winner! Colin (was it 5-2?)

Hello Colin
5-2 sounds OK.
It was a good die, but Alan had it back.
I think the problem was the dice cup actually, after your game I did a quick test, by dropping it in six up and shaking, I then got a high number of 6s. I changed my shake method after the first game, but it was a good die, as PAWS die tend to be.

Like Scott and others I enjoyed the venue, could I ask however if a single A4 sheet showing rooms traders etc. could be produced in future, I nearly missed one room of traders.
