Mentioned, back in February, that I ordered some figures by BattleModels (called that on Scale Creep website) / War Modelling (name on package). They're very good figures, and some time in future would be happy to get more. (Am painting up their Alex & Companions for army in progress, pics when finished) (Have gotten into habti of painting qsiloi, etc first, generals and 'elite' last... ) Anyway, some relevant news. Hope this won't affect their availability theminiaturespage.com/news/?id=577845805

It will be nice to see a pic of the camp posted on your site, at some point. I am still pleasantly surprised that one can purchase chariot wheels separately.

I've placed an order with FiB for an Ancient British army, an elephant with howdah for my Pyrrhic army, and the pack of personality figures from their Dark Ages range.

Placed an order with Alternative Armies at the end of August to take advantage of their 15 percent off on everything sale and to beat any postage increase. Needed a few figures to make complete elements or enough elements to fill out armies.
No update on fulfillment yet, but they have been running about 3 weeks on past orders.
Of course with the postage hike and covid, who knows?

Cheers, The Forged in Battle package arrived 2 days ago and you can see a short video of the individual packs over on the 2 FB DBA pages. Cheers,

I have been basing and magnetising stuff. Have a growing collection of really handy boxes as new homes for the troops, also been putting together stuff I have had for ages.
Now need to get back into painting.
I have to confess I have farmed out some Goths and Vikings already.
SAGA has kicked off again so Saracens finally put together and they and the Gauls are wanting some paint.

II/31j Hellenistic Greek Aitolians. I've been wanting to see for myself Museum Minatures' new Zed-Range figures. I've heard such good things about them, but I worry about scale-creep. So, I ordered this featherweight army. Two LH elements and ten Psiloi.
