Thanks Greg,
The orange grove should take no amount of time to complete. Simply cut three bases (1.2 mm thick) of 1BW x 2BW and fix two trees per base. Texture the bases in the same manner as the fields and you are done.
The stonewalls I would construct from the pressed pink foam, score and paint. Base them on basswood stripes 20 mm deep and in lengths that would enclose the grove. Texture the bases so they will blend with the grove.

The weather is turning to a nice spring day with sunshine. Here is a photo of the orchard; the latest addition to the terrain collection.
The figures are Legio Heroica and depict French troops marching to meet the Imperial army (1675).

Thanks Cromwell,
The next step is to build a stonewall to enclose the orchard. I imagine this will have four corner pieces with four lengths of wall. These will be done at the same time as other stone structures planned for next month.

Robert: Are the Noch fields sturdy enough to hold a stand or two of 15mm metal figures? Thank you, Jeff

I plan to construct another set exclusive for the Peninsular which will have stone walls partially enclosing them. The fields will reflect a partial harvest so I can stretch the number from four to possibly eight from one pack.

I see Busch has harvested fields that have a shorter height. Those might be good to create the stubble fields you seek?
